Atlona has expanded its Omega Series with a new generation built on HDBaseT 3.0, delivering single-cable distribution intended to simplify installation behind displays and at the presenter position. The lineup announced includes the AT-OME2-E2311 transmitter, the AT-OME2-D2311 receiver, the wall-plate transmitter AT-OME2-E2321-WP, and the 4x2 presentation switcher AT-OME2-R2742 with integrated Dante audio.
Single cable for video, USB and network
Omega 2 sends what Atlona describes as uncompressed 4K/60 4:4:4 over a single Cat 6A cable to distances up to 330 feet (100 meters). Alongside video, the HDBaseT 3.0 link carries USB 2.0 data and Gigabit Ethernet, and the extenders support bi-directional power over the HDBaseT link so either end can supply power to the other. That combination is aimed at reducing the number of separate power supplies and boxes that integrators must hide behind screens.
On the receiver end, the AT-OME2-D2311 exposes four USB ports intended for cameras, keyboards, mice and other peripherals, provides Ethernet pass-through, offers analog audio de-embedding and supports bi-directional RS-232 for display control.
“Omega has always been about making a room easier to use, and Omega 2 takes that further with HDBaseT 3.0,” said Ken Eagle, CEO, Hall Research.
Wall plate and switcher options
The AT-OME2-E2321-WP places both HDMI and USB-C inputs into a standard two-gang wall plate. A single USB-C connection can carry video, USB data and provide up to 60W of charging, allowing presenters to plug in and power a laptop with one cable. Front-panel buttons on the wall plate handle input selection and display power, and RS-232 is available for control.
The AT-OME2-R2742 is a compact 4x2 presentation switcher that brings HDMI and USB-C inputs together and adds Dante audio support, making the unit suitable where integrators need networked audio alongside video switching at the rack.

Atlona positions Omega 2 as a response to common room requirements: presenters who want a single plug-in experience and integrators who need fewer enclosures behind displays. The product set combines HDBaseT 3.0 transport with USB-C presenter convenience and Dante audio in the switcher to address signal, control and audio distribution in modern meeting and presentation spaces.
