Klipsch will open the doors of its Indianapolis headquarters for KlipschFest 2026, a two-day public festival scheduled for November 6–7 at 3502 Woodview Trace. The company, which is marking its 80th anniversary, said the free, family-friendly event will combine product demonstrations and listening sessions with historical exhibits and behind-the-scenes tours of its engineering and design facilities.
What visitors can expect
The program will include:
- listening sessions and product demonstrations across Klipsch’s current range
- behind-the-scenes tours of engineering and testing areas, including the company’s anechoic chamber
- company history displays featuring vintage advertisements and products tied to Klipsch’s work in film
- live music, food trucks and community-focused activities
- educational outreach with invited students from schools such as Ball State University and Butler University
The event is presented as a public complement to smaller fan gatherings the brand has hosted for years. Klipsch said the festival grew from long-running meetups—known informally as the Klipsch Pilgrimage—where enthusiasts traveled to Hope, Arkansas, to tour the company’s factory and museum.
“Fans would travel across state lines to Hope to tour the factory, and they started building friendships around their shared love of Klipsch,” Matt Sommers, Klipsch’s creative director, said.
Sommers described the Indianapolis festival as a separate effort designed to introduce more people to the company’s work and its local design and engineering operations. He said the company wants to showcase current products, preview what’s coming and expose visitors to the processes its teams follow.
“We really want to just celebrate people who love music and movies and the experience that we provide,” Sommers said. “Here’s what’s new, here’s what’s coming out, and here’s what our guys work on.”
Implications for dealers and integrators
Klipsch identified the Indianapolis headquarters as the site of its engineering and design center, where development and acoustic testing occur. Making those facilities accessible to the public—along with scheduled demos—creates opportunities for local dealers, integrators and distributors to engage with the brand, attend listening sessions, and bring customers or prospects to hands-on product experiences. The company also said it plans to stage KlipschFest as an annual event.

Klipsch said the festival will include displays that highlight its history and links to the film industry, and that the company’s staff will offer tours of specialized test spaces used during product development. The company framed the festival as an opportunity to celebrate customers and enthusiasts and to broaden awareness of its engineering work in Indianapolis.
Matt Sommers emphasized the company’s intention to welcome students and the broader community, positioning the event as both celebratory and educational. Klipsch plans to repeat the festival annually, beginning with the November dates announced for 2026.
