MSolutions has launched the UniLink100 Series, positioning the first model, the MS-UniLink100, as a simple path for organizations to accept modern USB-C laptops into HDMI-based meeting rooms without replacing existing matrix switchers, displays or room systems.
What the device does
The MS-UniLink100 converts a USB-C laptop’s DisplayPort Alternate Mode output to HDMI in a single enclosure and supplies up to 100W of power to the connected laptop. The company says the unit supports 4K60 4:4:4 video transport and is intended to remove the need for dongles or costly AV-system redesigns when users bring USB-C devices into HDMI-centric spaces.
“Everyone wants a modern meeting room, but that doesn’t mean they want to replace a perfectly good AV system every time laptop technology changes,” said Eliran Toren, CEO, MSolutions.
Installer-focused details
MSolutions describes the MS-UniLink100 as a plug-and-play device that requires no drivers or software and comes in a compact metal enclosure sized to sit beneath tables, behind displays or inside AV furniture. The company positions the UniLink100 as complementary to its MS-DPA Series, which extends DP Alt Mode signals over distance, while UniLink100 addresses the connection point where today’s USB-C laptops meet HDMI infrastructure.
- Signal conversion: USB-C (DP Alt Mode) to HDMI
- Video: 4K60 4:4:4 (company-stated)
- Power delivery: up to 100W to laptop
- Mechanical: compact metal enclosure for under-table, behind-display or in-furniture placement
- Integration: plug-and-play, no drivers required
Product positioning and roadmap
MSolutions frames the UniLink100 Series as a cost-conscious route for enterprises, education and other organizations that have invested heavily in HDMI-based AV infrastructure. The company also announced plans to add a second UniLink100 Series device in Q1 2027 to offer additional source connectivity and switching flexibility.
| manufacturer | model | key specifications | channel / placement |
|---|---|---|---|
| MSolutions | MS-UniLink100 | USB-C (DP Alt Mode) to HDMI, 4K60 4:4:4, up to 100W PD | Compact metal enclosure for under-table, behind-display or in-furniture installation |
MSolutions’ US representative, David Slavitt, told the announcement that integrators can revisit customers to modernize rooms without tearing out installed HDMI equipment. The company positions UniLink100 alongside its MS-DPA Series and as a targeted, localized interoperability solution rather than a wholesale AV-system upgrade.
For integrators and AV project teams, the MS-UniLink100 offers a straightforward way to accept the growing number of USB-C laptops while preserving HDMI switchers, matrixes and displays already in the field. MSolutions expects to expand the series in early 2027 with additional models that add connectivity and switching options.
