Wesco launches Pro A/V Services suite to support integrators’ project lifecycle

Wesco International introduced a Pro A/V Services portfolio on June 8 that bundles consultative expertise, managed services and global supply-chain capabilities for professional audiovisual integrators, adding monitoring, lifecycle management and technical support to its distribution offering.

Wesco International has expanded its commercial offering for the professional audiovisual market with the launch of Wesco Pro A/V Services, a suite designed to assist integrators across design, deployment and long-term support. The company announced the program on June 8 as a complement to its electrical and supply-chain business and said the new services follow a managed-services rollout in March.

Service components and intended role

Wesco positions the Pro A/V Services portfolio as a set of capabilities intended to help integrators raise productivity, manage larger or global deployments and provide more consistent outcomes for end customers. The suite groups consultative services, technology services and managed services with Wesco’s existing project and supply-chain resources to cover the full AV system lifecycle.

  • A/V systems management and monitoring with 24/7 visibility to improve uptime and system performance
  • Asset and lifecycle management for tracking, maintenance planning, refresh cycles and end-of-life processes
  • Network operations center (NOC) and technical assistance center (TAC) services for ongoing technical support

The distributor said these services are intended to integrate with integrators’ own operations rather than replace them, enabling partners to extend support beyond the initial installation and to standardize deployments for scale and repeatability.

“Pro A/V technology has simplified while overall demand has seen an increase,” said Phil Langley, Vice President of Pro A/V for Wesco.

Wesco framed the offering as a response to a more crowded market and rising complexity in the supply chain. The company said it will deliver the services in collaboration with integrator partners to provide cash-flow and scaling support when projects require broader logistics or global reach. The announcement also included remarks from Tara Dunning, Vice President of Converging Technology for Wesco, underlining the services’ role in helping integrators compete where large tech firms have entered the space.

How Wesco positions the new suite

Wesco described the Pro A/V Services suite as wrapped by its project, technology and supply-chain services to support standardized, repeatable deployments. The distributor said the offering is intended to reduce risk for integrators, improve efficiency and extend customer engagement through monitoring, lifecycle planning and technical support.

Wesco described the launch as part of a strategic push to scale service-led offerings alongside its core electrical distribution business. The company argued that while Pro A/V technology has simplified, higher volumes and global deployments have shifted complexity into logistics and support — areas the new service suite aims to address.

The announcement follows Wesco’s broader effort to expand managed-services capabilities and supply-chain support for systems integrators. Wesco did not disclose pricing, contractual terms or specific geographic limits for the Pro A/V Services portfolio in the announcement.
