TD Synnex has expanded its Destination AI partner program with resources aimed at solution providers serving small and midsize businesses. The distributor said the additions are intended to help partners identify practical AI applications, demonstrate their value and develop related services rather than position AI solely as a productivity purchase.

The expansion, announced October 27, includes a workshop focused on small and midsize business AI adoption, an AI skills marketplace within the StreamOne platform and a foundations course for partners. Destination AI began with enterprise-focused engagements. The SMB initiative shifts the emphasis toward sales and support use cases, including applications that can help businesses manage quotes, respond to customers and handle a greater volume of calls.

A results-focused approach

Sergio Farache, TD Synnex’s chief strategy and technology officer, said small business customers are more likely to adopt AI when the commercial result is clear. He said partners should connect deployments to revenue growth or cost reduction instead of presenting productivity tools as an end in themselves.

“Productivity tools on their own don't change how a small business runs or grows.”

Farache also pointed to higher quote volume, faster responses, more calls handled and improved reports as examples of measurable outcomes. The distributor’s stated objective is to give partners a way to address concerns that AI introduces additional expense while making its financial return difficult to demonstrate.

Destination AI is organized around three maturity tiers. Farache said thousands of partners globally are at the entry-level Aware stage, while a steady flow is progressing to Ready. He identified Europe as a region showing strong momentum. TD Synnex did not disclose how many partners had advanced through the program’s tiers.

Resources for partner-led deployments

The program’s assets are available to partners at no charge, according to TD Synnex. The distributor expects to generate revenue through AI license adoption, consumption and demand for related services. That structure gives the partner program a role beyond training: it is also intended to support continuing service work after an initial technology sale.

  • SMB AI adoption workshop: designed for partners working with small and midsize business customers.
  • AI skills marketplace: available through the StreamOne platform.
  • Foundations course: provides introductory program training for partners.
  • Destination AI tiers: include the Aware and Ready stages cited by TD Synnex, within a three-tier maturity model.

TD Synnex described the partner workflow as moving from identifying a suitable business application to proving its value and then supporting an ongoing deployment. The distributor said a transaction based on a seat license can end with the sale, while an AI capability connected to a quoting or support workflow can require discovery, validation, deployment and maintenance. Its SMB tools are built around that sequence, with AI Game Plan used to find a use case and Cloud Labs used to prove it.

For distributors and solution providers, the announcement places the emphasis on packaged enablement and repeatable customer outcomes. TD Synnex is giving partners free program resources while linking the commercial opportunity to licenses, consumption and services. The company’s stated focus is to help partners make AI adoption more concrete for SMB customers through sales and support workflows that can be measured in revenue or operating costs.
