One Equity Partners (OEP) has reached an agreement to acquire Nexora, the parent company of Almo Pro AV, with the transaction expected to close by March 2027, Nexora said. The deal, as described by Nexora, is intended to accelerate investments in technology, digital tools and services across the company’s North American and European operations.
Management and strategy to remain in place
Nexora said it will retain its existing management team and continue pursuing a strategy of acquiring and growing specialist local trading businesses. Nexora’s portfolio includes Almo, Azenn Connect, CapTech, COMM-TEC, Hammer and JAM, which operate across markets in North America and Europe.
The company reported annual revenue of more than $3 billion and said it works with more than 30,000 partners. Nexora described OEP’s experience growing technology and distribution businesses as a rationale for the partnership.

In publicly quoted comments included in Nexora’s announcement, Dan Smith outlined planned investments in digital customer experience and seller enablement tools. Smith said Almo Pro AV is working on a new website and enhancements to bid registration and freight tools to speed customer access to information and free sales teams to focus on relationships. He also said expanded digital capabilities will help manufacturers connect their products with more customers.
