Ingram Micro has launched SMB Quick Buy, an AI-powered, click-to-purchase service designed to simplify how channel partners assemble, quote and order Cisco solutions for small and midsize business customers. The distributor said the feature will be available through its Xvantage digital commerce platform and will first include Cisco and Cisco Meraki technologies.

What SMB Quick Buy offers partners

Ingram Micro described SMB Quick Buy as an experience that automates manual steps in the buying process, presents guided and validated solution choices, and delivers faster quoting and ordering so partners can move from quote to close more quickly. The offering is intended to let partners access a full Cisco SMB package without engaging a sales representative, with 24/7 availability through Xvantage.

  • Faster quoting and ordering: automation and AI aim to shorten time from quote to close.
  • Guided solution selection: validated configurations to reduce complexity in multi-item purchases.
  • Always-on access: available through Ingram Micro Xvantage without needing a representative.
“I think now we’re going to be able to meet the partners where they are [and] address their needs in a far simpler way—almost a click of a button away from being able to deliver a solution to an end customer, and then they’ll get the full Cisco value in an SMB package,” said Bill Brandel, Ingram Micro’s executive vice president, North America.

Rollout and future plans

Ingram Micro said SMB Quick Buy will launch in North America and the distributor plans to expand the feature globally. The company also said it intends to continue using AI to refine workflows, increase accuracy and improve partner productivity. Success metrics the distributor will evaluate include time savings, increased transaction volume and partner adoption levels.

Executives described SMB Quick Buy as a way to meet partners where they are, enabling a higher-volume, faster SMB sales motion by combining Cisco’s product intelligence with Ingram Micro’s platform capabilities. The distributor said the tool reduces time to market for Cisco SMB solutions and aims to remove friction from solution selling and ordering.

Ingram Micro will monitor the program by tracking operational improvements and business outcomes, including increased transactions and reduced cycle times, as it pursues a broader global rollout.
