Apple has announced a wider language rollout for Siri AI, its reimagined assistant built on the Apple Intelligence platform, and published details installers and integrators should note about device, OS and regional constraints. The company said additional language support will arrive by the end of the year, and that several Apple Intelligence features carry daily server-side usage limits.
What Apple announced
Apple described Siri AI as a more context-aware version of the assistant that can draw from a user’s messages, photos, emails and other on-device information to perform tasks such as drafting messages, editing photos and taking actions related to on-screen content. The company said Siri AI can also access broad world knowledge for up-to-date information where appropriate.
Availability and platform requirements
According to Apple, Siri AI is available in beta in these OS builds: iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, macOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2 and visionOS 27.2. It requires an Apple Intelligence–enabled device set to a supported language. Apple lists the languages supported for Apple Intelligence as: Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Vietnamese.
Expanded language support and regional limits
The company said additional language availability for Siri AI will expand, with Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish and Vietnamese arriving by the end of the year. At the same time, Apple warned that some features might not be present in every region or language, and that certain devices may be unavailable in some markets.

- Planned language expansion by year-end: Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish, Vietnamese
Limits, commercial options and EU status
Apple said that certain Apple Intelligence capabilities which depend on server-side models — including Siri AI, intelligent photo editing tools, Image Playground and AFM 3 Cloud models in Shortcuts — are subject to daily usage limits. Those limits may vary by feature, by request complexity, and according to system demand and policies. Apple added that expanded access to such features will be offered for a fee in the future. The company also noted an age restriction: Siri AI is not available to users under 13.
Apple further stated that Siri AI is currently unavailable in the EU for iOS, iPadOS and watchOS, and that the company is working constructively with EU authorities in an effort to find a path forward.
What integrators should note
For professional installers and systems integrators deploying Apple-centric smart home solutions, the announcement underscores three practical considerations: language settings and device OS levels will determine whether Siri AI features are reachable for end users; some cloud-reliant Apple Intelligence tools will be rate-limited and could incur future fees for higher usage; and EU clients using iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch may not have Siri AI available until Apple reaches a regulatory resolution in that region.
Installers managing multi-occupant homes, international customers or deployments that rely on hands-free assistant functions should verify device language, OS version and regional availability before specifying Siri AI–dependent automation or training end users on features that may be restricted by daily caps or local rules.

Apple’s briefing makes clear that Siri AI and associated Apple Intelligence features are being rolled out across multiple platform releases but that availability will vary by language, device and region. Integrators should plan installations and client education with those constraints in mind.
