HARMAN Luxury Audio Group has introduced the JBL L150 Classic, a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker positioned as the flagship of JBL’s Classic Series. The company presented the model publicly at Audio Video Show 2026 in Warsaw, Poland, held from October 23–25. Availability is scheduled for 2027.
The L150 Classic is built around a 15-inch architecture and takes its exterior cues from JBL loudspeakers of the 1970s. Its walnut veneer cabinet uses a magnetically attachable black Quadrex grille, while the front panel provides separate high-frequency and low-frequency acoustic voicing controls. The speaker also supports both bi-wire and bi-amplification configurations, giving custom audio dealers and integrators flexibility when specifying associated amplification.
Three-way driver complement
The low-frequency section uses a 15-inch Pure Pulp Differential Drive woofer. A dedicated 6.5-inch polymer-coated midrange driver handles the middle frequencies, and a 28mm titanium dome tweeter operates with a waveguide and acoustic lens. JBL specifies low-frequency extension to 33Hz.

Cabinet and crossover design
JBL said the updated model preserves the visual identity associated with the original Classic Series while applying current driver, crossover and acoustic-tuning approaches. The enclosure is designed with a large format intended to provide additional dynamic headroom and bass authority. The specification set gives integrators several room-matching and system-design variables, including the front-panel voicing controls and the option to use separate amplifier channels for the high- and low-frequency sections.

“The L150 Classic represents everything enthusiasts love about JBL’s Classic Series loudspeakers: the scale, energy, and emotional connection to music, combined with the acoustic refinement expected from a modern high-performance design. It brings large-format JBL sound to a wider audience while remaining true to the engineering principles that define the brand.”
Kevin Kent, senior global product line manager at HARMAN Luxury Audio, made the statement in connection with the introduction. HARMAN has not published a US MSRP or detailed dealer-channel terms in the announcement. The confirmed timing places the L150 Classic in the company’s 2027 product pipeline rather than at immediate dealer availability.
