Infocomm América Latina reported growth across attendance, exhibition space and education during its second edition, held from October 21–23 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City. The AVIXA-organized event recorded 5,904 verified attendees, a 13 percent increase over its inaugural 2025 show.
The exhibition brought together 82 exhibitors, up 28 percent year over year. Net exhibit space increased 52 percent to 4,033 square meters, or approximately 43,400 square feet. International visitors accounted for 11 percent of attendance, compared with 6 percent in 2025, with attendees traveling from Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Honduras, among other countries.
Integrated demonstrations took center stage
The Mexico City program covered LED displays, digital signage, conferencing and collaboration, professional audio, automation and immersive technologies. Organizers also placed greater emphasis on showing how systems work together in finished environments rather than limiting the exhibition to individual product displays.
Six immersive experiences demonstrated combinations of audio, video, lighting and content for settings including museums, airports, offices and hotels. The event also included nine Demo Rooms, where visitors could assess professional audio systems in controlled environments. For integrators and other technology professionals, the format placed system application alongside product discovery.
“Infocomm América Latina filled a gap in the industry. Previously, Latin American audiovisual integration professionals had to travel to Europe or the United States to access the latest innovations.”
That assessment came from Ana Elisa Benavent, the show’s director. The international attendance figures indicate that the event attracted professionals from outside Mexico while remaining centered on the regional AV market. End users represented 26 percent of the audience.
Education program expands
Education drew 1,734 participants, an 8.6 percent increase from the previous year. The program comprised 61 sessions and five guided tours, with 90 international specialists contributing. New subject areas included artificial intelligence, higher-education technology and immersive experiences.
Attendees could also take the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) examination at the show for the first time. The addition connected the exhibition with a formal professional-certification opportunity and extended the event’s focus beyond product demonstrations.
